promised, we have tracked down that elusive barbarian we spoke of.
After leading the league in rushing yards last season, he has taken a
bit smaller role this year, but still is 2nd in the league in rushing.
he had some interesting things to say after we cornered him in the
locker room following the spanking of Niagara Falls. Check it out:

TNT: Hey Marion go ahead and take a seat.

MB: Okay thank you.

TNT: Marion, This team has really turned it around lately with this new staff, how do you feel about that?

MB: I am happy with the new staff. Not saying I didn't like any of the old stuff, but we have really been on the ball lately.

TNT: Winners of seven in a row, How has this team turned it around so fast?

MB:
To be honest our passing attack really started to step it up this year.
We have great receivers this year and Wilson is simply the best QB in
the league.

TNT: You guys spanked a previously undefeated Mounties team yesterday, any thoughts on how you did it?

MB:
Well everyone worked very hard and the team has been gameplanning for
this game since like the first time we saw BOOM BOOM have a huge game
with like 800 something yards so we had to make sure we got everything
right. I talked to BOOM BOOM's owner and he seemed like a very nice guy.

TNT: Who do you see as your teams next challenge?

MB:
I don't want to get cocky about anything but I really don't see us
losing a game this season. If we do then oh well, we just need to make
sure we don't mess anything up in the playoffs. Championship is first
to me.

TNT: What can the Canada A Leagues expect from you guys from now on?

MB: More wins, not close wins either.... HUGE wins.

TNT: Being an Offensive leader, how far do you believe this team can go?

MB:
All the way. I don't even have to be in the game and we can still win
our games. Wipe MeOff could start and do just as well as me I think. He
has done a great job backing me up and he will continue to help the
team out. Plus he steals all of my touchdowns already (laughs).

TNT: Your Pick for the final two teams in the playoffs is?

MB:
This is kind of tough because I don't pay attention to the West that
much but if I think it would be Charleston Black Dragons against us and
we would win.

TNT: Who is the most dominate player in Canada A 1?

MB:
Haha I would love to say me but I wouldn't do that. The most dominate
player so far is BOOM BOOM even though he played some terrible teams it
doesn't matter because he still "dominated" them.

TNT: Finally, who do you see as the offensive and defensive leaders on this team?

MB:
On offense this year it would definitely be Wilson Collier just because
he has been so great every game averaging 339.8 yards per game. He also
has 30 touchdowns but anyways now to the defensive player. I would have
to pick Terrence Rodgers, but it was very close with Maxx Payne.
Terrence leads the team in interceptions like every year and he also
leads the league in pass deflections. Maxx leads the team with 13 sacks
and he got that one sweet interception in one of our recent games. If
I'm not mistaking he leads the team in hurries too.

TNT: Well man I think that about wraps it up it was a great pleasure meeting you and good luck for the rest of the season.

MB: Thanks and nice meeting you too. Have a nice day, maybe I will see you another time.

Big
words from a big man, a big, hairy, smelly man. Oh, erm, this has been
The Nomad Tracker with another exclusive on the Nomads. Tune in next
time as we plan on interviewing a few of the new additions to the
Nomads Staff. Until next time, TNT is wishing you all a happy turkey
day, enjoy the day off.

TNT Volume 1

Hello and welcome. You are tuning in to the Official Nomads News
program. We plan to bring you breaking news each week as the Nomads
continue their Championship run.

One of the big surprises for
the Nomads this season has been the birth of a passing game. The team
can now go a lot of directions, which is allowing them to confuse the
opposing defenses, and to put up some stellar numbers. This new attack
is lead by star quarterback Wilson Collier. TNT sat down with Wilson
yesterday for a rare, exclusive interview.

TNT: You have been in alot of talk of being one of the top QB's in the league, what do you think about all this?

Wilson: Personally
id rather add to the top part of my players trophy case where the team
championships go, and if I get #1 in passing ill be proud. I know
Marion wants #1 in rushing and id be glad to take less passes to get
him that but im more concerned on winning then stats. Natural to me tbh

TNT: Do you think you are the best QB in Canada A 1?

Wilson: Yes

TNT: What has been the success so far for your team?

Wilson: Balance on offense, not being able to focus on one demension.

TNT: How far do you think your team can go?

Wilson: As far as they want to. We got the talent to go all the way, but if our mind aint set right then oh well

TNT: Your biggest game will be against the Hudson Hitmen, how do you think you and your team will do?

Wilson: They
are obviously beatable since they've already shown. We dont protect WC
well and they get pressure. I dont like that matchup but I believe RR
will have the defense playing at its peak. Should be fun. Not worried
about the Hitmen till Week 16 though.

TNT: With the huge start for your season, will you live up to all the hype for the rest of the season?

Wilson: We'll see soon enough

TNT: There is a lot of disrespect for the Nomads coming from the Western conference, what are your thoughts on this?

Wilson: Don't care, maybe we'll see em Day 40

TNT: Who is a team you think can turn things around and make the playoffs?

Wilson: I don't pay attention to this league very close so its tough to tell

TNT: Which conference in your opinion would be the hardest conference to win and/or make the playoffs?

Wilson: Like I said, not to sure, but I know we're tough and we'll focus on one team at a time.

TNT: Teams are looking to shut you out, any game plan that could do that?
Wilson: Our OL isnt great, could sack me eh.....11 times might do the job ?

TNT: The League Champs will be?

Wilson: Better be the Yukon Nomads

He
may be a man of few words, but what he says, speaks volumes. Is this
truly the Year of the Nomad? Tune in next week as we hope to score an
interview with a certain Barbarian out there. Until next time, this has
been TNT covering the explosion that is the Yukon Nomads.
